How to make a referral
We want to ensure that referring someone to Blue Sanctuary CIC is as straightforward as possible. Follow these simple steps to help an individual access our supportive services:
Step 1 – Contact us
Complete our referral form or contact our team by email or telephone to discuss the person's support needs and accommodation requirements.
Step 2 – Submit referral information
The referring organisation should provide:
- Personal details
- Current housing situation
- Support needs
- Risk information
- Relevant health or wellbeing information
- Emergency contact details (where appropriate)
Providing accurate information helps us assess the referral quickly and safely.
Step 3 – Assessment
Our team reviews each referral to determine whether our accommodation and support services are suitable for the individual. Where appropriate, we may arrange an assessment meeting or request additional information from the referring organisation.
Step 4 – Decision
Once the assessment has been completed, we will inform the referrer of the outcome as soon as possible. If the referral is accepted, we will work with the individual and the referring organisation to arrange their placement and support plan.
